Quality education can enable welfare of human race: Guv
Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated a study centre of Jharkhand Open University at Deoghar on Saturday and participated in a seminar organised on National Education Policy 2020. On the occasion he congratulated AS College, Deoghar, Economic Association of Bihar and The Indian Economic Association for organizing the event.
This education policy will help in changing the present colonial education system. Where for years our education policy was preparing only job-seeking youth, the new policy will develop such an education system which will play an important role in making youth self-reliant and job creators. This education policy also talks about character upliftment, he added.
The Governor further said that a good educational institution is considered to be one where good and appropriate Resources are provided for the Learning of every student, the teachers there are dedicated towards education, they are considerate for their students like their own children and they become a true guide. The National Education Policy 2020 envisages these parameters.
Jharkhand State Open University has been established in the state of Jharkhand and today the study center of this university is also being established here. The establishment of this study center will greatly benefit the people around, said the Governor.

National Conclave on Technical Textiles Protech under National Technical Textiles Mission
The Ministry of Textiles in PARTNERSHIP with Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) and Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) organized a full-day event National Conclave on Technical Textiles Protech here today. The Chief Guest, Ms. Rachna Shah, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, inaugurated the Conclave.
There were three panel discussions in the conclave covering Prospect of indigenisation of Protective Textile products in India, Experience and Expectations of consumers towards adoption of Indian protective textiles and Market promotion & Export opportunities of Protective Textiles in India along with Global Best Practices.
TRAI organises Conference on Rating of Buildings or Areas for Digital Connectivity
The (TRAI) has organized a Conference on “Rating of Buildings or Areas for Digital Connectivity”. In the year 2022, when country is celebratingAzadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, TRAI has also completed 25-years of its existence. The Conference is organized as a part its year-long silver Jubilee celebration.
The conference was organised in the spirit of the proactive role of TRAI to work in collaboration with Industry and other stakeholders and ensure good Quality Telecom Services are delivered to the consumers inside the building keeping pace with the new and emerging technologies.

Although many have adopted digital modes of payment — with the shift gathering pace during the pandemic — the verdict on demonetisation is still not clear on whether it has delivered its set goal of weeding out black money and checking the Growth of the parallel economy.
LocalCircles said that 44% of those surveyed, who bought a property in the last 7 years, had to pay a component in cash.
Exercise Sea Vigil-22
Exercise Sea Vigil was conceptualized in 2018 to strengthen Indias coastal DEFENCE by improving coordination between various stakeholders.
It is a build-up towards the larger TROPEX exercise.
It covers Indias entire 7,516 km coastline as well as 2 million sq km of Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
This national-level exercise provides the opportunity at the apex level to assess Indias preparedness in the maritime security domain and the coastal defence.
It provides a realistic assessment of Indias strengths and weaknesses and helps the country boost its maritime and national security.
The exercise is the largest in India in terms of geographical extent, the number of stakeholders, the number of units involved, and the broad objectives.
Trade turnover with India may come close to $30 billion by end of 2022: Russian embassy
