Govt putting efforts for more investment in health sector: CM

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that the government is making continuous efforts to expand and improve the health facilities in the state. People should get good medical facilities in their own State, it is our top priority. Addressing people while inaugurating the online Cath lab at Cardiac Unit of Santevita Hospital, here on Saturday, he congratulated the hospital management for setting up a world class and state-of-the-art Cath lab.

The CM said that efforts are being made to create such a strong health infrastructure in the State so that the patients here do not have to go to the big hospitals of the big cities outside the State for treatment. This will not only enable them to get better treatment in their own home, but will also get rid of the huge expenditure involved in it. Apart from this, various problems caused by going to distant hospitals will also be relieved.

Soren said that whether it is a government hospital or a private one, state-of-the-art medical facilities are continuously increasing here. Especially in Ranchi, now better facilities are being available for proper treatment of serious and serious diseases. He said that all the steps are being taken by the government for maximum investment in the health sector.
