New schemes, development projects rain in

On the completion of two years of JMM-Congress-RJD coalition Government in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren gifted the people of the State with schemes and development projects in the tune of Rs 17,222.02 crore in a glittering anniversary celebration function at the historic Morhabadi Ground of the State Capital.

In a move to give relief to people, especially to those belonging to the lower income group of the State, the CM announced Rs 25 per litre cash back on purchase of petrol for ration card holders of

the State. However, the cash back can be availed upto purchase of 10 litres of petrol every month and the subsidy amount will be transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to implement the Students Credit Card scheme and said that soon they would get the benefit of this scheme. Lack of money will never become a hindrance to them for their education. He said Jharkhand is a product of the State movement. Many people gave their martyrdom in the movement for this State. Our Government is giving pension to such agitators and their dependents with respect. Now they will get 5 per cent horizontal reservation in Government jobs.

The CM said 100 per cent scholarship is being given to Scheduled Tribe students for higher education abroad. This year, under this scheme, six students have been selected to study abroad. Now the State Government is also working towards expanding the scope of this scholarship scheme. Promising students of other classes will also be linked to the scholarship scheme for higher education abroad.

The CM said there has been a demand for the implementation of Old Pension Scheme for a long time by the employees of the State Government. The Government is considering their demand and a legal decision will be taken soon.

Ziyuan-1 02E Launched by China

 

China launched a new Earth observation satellite named “Ziyuan-1 02E” into space.

 

The satellite was launched with the goal of discovering new natural resources.A smaller satellite was also launched, which will be used to teach geography at a Beijing school.

The Long March 4C rocket launched both satellites from the Taiyuan Launch Center in Sjanxi Province.

The Earth observation satellite Ziyuan-1 02E is part of a series of Ziyuan-1 satellites. Its most recent version, Ziyuan III 03., was released in July 2021.

 

Global Environment and Climate Action Citizen Award Presented In Dubai

 

the Global Environment and Climate Action Citizen Award were presented in Dubai.

Highlights:

Surat’s noted industrialist Viral Desai received the prestigious Global Environment and Climate Action Citizen Award.

Because of his passion for the environment, Viral Desai is known as Greenman.

At Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm, the SanskrutiYuvaSansthan presented Viral Desai and other winners with the ‘Bharat Gaurav Samman.’

The prestigious awards were presented to 28 prominent figures from 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, New Zealand, and Malaysia.

 

CEBRs Indian Economy Prediction

 

According to the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), India will reclaim sixth place from France in 2022 and move up to third place in 2031.

Highlights:

India was predicted to become the third-largest economy in the world by 2030.

China will overtake the United States in 2030, according to the CEBR’s annual World Economic League Table.

According to the report, India’s ranking in the World Economic League Table will improve over the next 15 years (WELT).

Flex-Fuel Vehicles and Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid Guidelines

 

Guidelines for Flex-Fuel Vehicles and Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicles were released by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Highlights:

Automatic manufacturers in India have been instructed to begin producing Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV) and Flex Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicles in accordance with guidelines (FFV-SHEVs).

This will help India replace its petroleum imports as a fuel source while also providing direct benefits to farmers.

FFV-SHEVs are equipped with powerful Hybrid Electric technology.

Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules

 

The Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, have been published by the Central Government.

Highlights:

Direct selling entities and direct sellers are prohibited from Promoting a Pyramid Scheme or enlisting anyone in these schemes under the notified rules.

Participating in a money-transfer scheme

State governments have been given the responsibility of monitoring compliance with these rules.

Direct Selling Entities are required to have at least one physical location as a registered office within India, according to the rules.

They should make a self-declaration that the Direct Selling Entity has followed the rules and is not involved in a pyramid scheme or money circulation scheme.

All products sold by a direct selling company must adhere to the declarations made under the Legal Metrology Act of 2009.
