- CCL inks MOU with SER, RITES to build toilets
In a major boost to cleanliness mission, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), signed a tripartite MOU with South Eastern Railways and RITES for building toilet blocks at 200 railway stations spread across Jharkhand.
CCL has contributed substantially to the “Swacchta Abhiyan” and played a role in creating an “Open Defecation Free (ODF)” India. The company has built almost 12,000 Toilets across four states namely Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
The company has launched a series of welfare schemes, better known as “Kayakalp Yojana” in the field of sports, education, health, skill development, drinking water etc. across 8 districts of Jharkhand. CCL as a responsible corporate citizen is committed towards the inclusive growth. The company has taken up several initiatives for young and talented children and youths of scheduled tribes in the field of Sports.
