HRD to follow Bihar model to accommodate para teachers

Jharkhand HRD Minister Jagarnath Mahato informed a delegation of para teachers that the Government has taken the decision to accommodate demands of para teachers from pay hike to regularisation of their service.

The Minister informed the delegation that the Jharkhand government is working on the proposal on the line of the Bihar Government where para teachers too had carried agitation for their demands.

At present there are around 65,000 para teachers working in Jharkhand and out of these, 13000 teachers are TET qualified. Once their service is regularised para teachers will be able to work till 60 years of age. They will be entitled for a pay scale of Rs 5,200-Rs20,000 besides three percent increase in pay scale per year.

G20 Conference on Women Empowerment

 

The 1st ever G20 Ministerial Conference on Women’s Empowerment was held at Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy. It was held in combined format i.e human beings participated in physical structure and with the aid of video conference also.

The Union Minister of Women & Child Development addressed the meeting on behalf of India. The Union Minister reaffirmed India’s dedication closer to addressing gender and women-centric troubles by mutual cooperation. The G20 Conference on Women Empowerment recounted the common goals and shared duties to enhance the dreams of equality and improvement of girls and ladies in all spheres along with STEM, Financial and Digital Literacy, Environment and Sustainability.

MANTHAN Hackathon by BPR&D and AICTE

 

Bureau of Police Research & Development and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be launching MANTHAN 2021 on twenty sixth August 2021 at National Media Centre.

Hackathon “MANTHAN 2021” is a unique country wide initiative (36-hour online hackathon with Prize cash really worth Rs. 40 Lakh and with two phases) to become aware of revolutionary principles and science options for addressing the safety challenges of the twenty first century confronted by our talent agencies.

During this hackathon, chosen youths from schooling institutions across the country and registered start-ups will participate to provide strong, secure and high-quality technology solutions using their technical expertise and progressive skills.

 

Renovated Complex of Jallianwala Bagh Smarak

 

PM Narendra Modi has dedicated to the state the renovated complex of Jallianwala Bagh Smarak in Punjab’s Amritsar, to mark 102 years of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

 

 

The historical garden is a memorial of countrywide importance, preserved in the memory of infinite revolutionaries, sacrificers, fighters, who had been killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which befell on the pageant of Baisakhi on 13 April 1919. Apart from this, PM Modi also inaugurated four museum galleries developed at the Smarak, to exhibit the historical fee of activities that unfolded in Punjab in 1919. The PM also introduced multiple improvement initiatives taken with the aid of the authorities to upgrade the complex.

 

First Sectoral Index of India

Tokenization for Mobiles, Laptops and Wearables

 

In 2019, RBI had accepted authorized card charge networks to provide card tokenization offerings to any token requestor (i.e., third-party app provider) thru mobile phones and tablets. Now RBI has prolonged the scope of tokenization to include purchaser devices – laptops, desktops, wearables (wristwatches, bands, etc.), Internet of Things (IoT) devices, etc.

 

The permission for tokenization extends to a number channels [e.g., Near Field Communication (NFC) / Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) primarily based contactless transactions, in-app payments, QR code-based payments, etc.] or token storage mechanisms (cloud, impenetrable element, trusted execution environment, etc. The ultimate duty for the card tokenization offerings rendered rests with the licensed card networks.

Tokenization refers to the replacement of true card important points with a unique alternate code referred to as the “token”, which shall be special for a combination of card, token requestor, and device (referred hereafter as “identified device”).

 

Y-Break App launched by AYUSH Ministry

 

It was launched by Union AYUSH minister, Sarbananda Sonowal.

 

On the occasion, several bouquets of activities and campaigns was launched by Ministry of Ayush to commemorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

 

Apart from Y-Break App, a year-long campaigns like cultivation of medicinal plants in farmland, distribution of medicinal plants to households and sensitisation of School & College going students on Ayush systems were launched.

 

This week-long activities & campaigns will start from August 30 to September 5.

 

These activities will be launched with the aim of reaching to remote areas in India and address all categories of our population viz., children, old people, farmers and corporate.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is a series of events being organised to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. Events are being organised by government of India and it will be celebrated as a Jan-Utsav in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari.
