To provide dignified livelihoods to over 20,000tribal womenengaged in selling Hadiya (rice beer), theJharkhandStateLivelihoodPromotion Society (JSLPS) in collaboration with an international NGO Green Digital has launched a project to generate income.

The project, Advancing Tribal Livelihood and Self Reliance (ATLAS), aims to provide alternative livelihoods to such Women by assisting them on the modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) based agricultural practices.

On the criteria of beneficiaries to be covered by the project, Sahay said, All beneficiaries of Phulo Jhano Ashirvad Scheme, as well as those who are involved in the manufacturing and sale of alcoholic drinks like Hadiya, will be selected under the project. Digital Green will provide the beneficiaries with the latest technology and equipment.

New Registration for New Cars – BH Series

Road Transport and Highways Ministry has introduced a new registration mark for new cars i.e. Bharat series (BH-series).

The automobiles bearing the BH-series mark will now not have to require the task of a new registration mark when the vehicle’s owner moves from one State to the other state.

Earlier, under part forty seven of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, if a character strikes from one country to another, a character is allowed to maintain the vehicle for not more than 12 months in any kingdom different than the nation where the car is registered, but a new registration has to be made with the new state- registering authoritywithin the stipulated time of 12 months.

This facility is on hand on a voluntary foundation to Defense personnel, personnel of Central Government/ / Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings & private area companies/organizations, which have their places of work in 4 or extra States/Union territories.

Foundation Day for AREAS

Association of of States (AREAS) celebrates 7th Foundation Day.

The Association of Renewable Energy Agencies (AREAS) came into existence in 2014 on the initiative of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.

All national nodal agencies for renewable power are participants of AREAS.

On this platform, they can research from each others experience in the merchandising of renewable energy in the country.

The Union Minister in charge of New and Renewable Energy is the Ex-Officio Patron of the Association and Secretary, MNRE is the ex-officio President of the Association.

First Green Hydrogen of India

Indian Oil will construct Indias first Green Hydrogen Plant at Mathura refinery. This plant will be an addition in order to amplify the existing crude oil refining capability by using 25 million tonnes per annum.

Indian Oil has been pursuing its ambitious plans of hydrogen manufacturing throughout a range of sorts such as in renewable electricity to generate green hydrogen.

Recently, Indian oil carried out a current hydrogen fuel mobile experiment in Delhi, in which 50 CNG BS-IV buses were transformed to run on HCNG fuel. This scan has revealed good sized advantages in decreasing exhaust emissions and enhancing fuel economy.

Indian Oil is also in a system to set up one-tonne per day ability to pilot plant life on the basis of four progressive hydrogen manufacturing technologies.

MoU Between ICAI and IPAR

Cabinet approved the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia (IPAR).

Details:

The MoU would assist in establishing mutual cooperation in the areas of Professional Accountancy Training, Professional Ethics, Technical Research, Advancement of Accounting Knowledge, Professional and Intellectual Development.

The MoU is also expected to supply an extra impetus to potential ICAI Members to get professional opportunities in Russia in a brief to lengthy time period in the future.

The UN International Day for People of African Descent is celebrated for the first time on 31 August 2021.
