Jharkhand to start genome sequencing of +ve samples
The state Health department has decided to startgenomesequencing of preserved positive Covid-19samples. The is also working on modalities to install a sequencer machine that will be used for genome sequencing at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi.
According to sources in the health department, a proposal for purchasing a sequencer machine was submitted to the health department in the month of February but there has been no development on the front since then.
